This little Munchkin arrived just before I left for my trip to Cuba so I was lucky enough to see her tiny and new. I just love her she is so cute . i thought she was the spitting image of her brother but when mom busted out the baby pictures I was proven wrong. If I didn’t know better I would have thought she was her older sister. This family lives in Bradner and have a huge daffodil farm. So after we got enough pictures of baby we moved the whole family outside and got some great new family shots in the field. Congrats to your new bundle of joy and I cant wait to get my next set of cuddles in. xoxo
I met this family for the first time when we headed out for our photo shoot. We met down in Granville island which really is one of my favorite places to shoot. The art scene is so inspiring not to mention a great black and white cookie from the market. It was a freezing cold day but we pushed through and managed to get these great shots plus many, many more.
This is one big family! All brought together to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. That is amazing in itself, not to mention planning a whole weekend together with everyone. We met up before they had a big dinner planned and got a couple of group and family snap shots to put together. You would think it might be a little bit of a disaster for such a big group on the side of the hotel building on a main street, but not for these guys. They were organized the kids were a dream and everyone was looking their best= some great pictures. Thanks you so much for letting me capture such a momentous occasion. Congratulations on 60 years of marriage and family.
This little guy is the spitting image of his momma, sorry dad. ( i know how that feels, my guy is his fathers clone) This little guy got decked out in his Oshkosh overalls he could be their little model. He has the cutest cheeks, nose and toes:) We also used his blanket that his Grandma made for him, which was beautiful. Might have to get he to make some for the studio. lol!
No this is not a joke it is true ANOTHER maternity session on the blog today:)!!!. I am so excited I had the chance to shoot this gorgeous mama. I love when I get the chance to photograph friends, the sessions come with ease and everyone is just that little bit more comfortable. These two joked the whole time about how un-photogenic they were ……….sorry but I don’t see it, they look pretty good to me 😛
I think I have found a couple of my favorite maternity pictures in this session. Well I better considering it was a photo shoot marathon. I dragged this momma all around the place 3 separate locations, not to mention with a 2 yr old. lol. (don’t worry there was a portable dvd player to help entertain) I had been wanting to shoot these locations for a while but it just had not worked out due to weather. So the day was nice and I took advantage and went to all three. Well worth it if you ask me! Thanks for being my guinnea pig for the day and putting up with my craziness:0)
I thought there were a lot of babies last year but I think this must be a record. There are so many expecting moms out there I don’t have enough fingers and toes to count them all. I love it!
Maternity photos are some of my favorite photos to shoot. Moms have this great glow to them and big brothers and sisters are so excited to meet their new sibling. It’s also great when you have a family like this one. I was a typical rainy day in Abby and was about to reschedule because kids and rain sometimes don’t mix but…… they were awesome! We went out with our umbrellas and jackets and had a great time.
I am always so excited to meet up with this little guys parents, they really are a lot of fun to be around and really just go with the flow, and their new addition is no exception. He seriously slept through the whole shoot. We managed to get maybe one shot with his eyes open. I cant wait to get in a lot more cuddles. He is so cute!!
