International Angelman day |ABBOTSFORD PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Today if you didn’t know is the Annual International Angelman day. What other session to post today then this near & dear to me family who has their very own angel, and she really did steal the show this whole session. I have always known this family as full of very beautiful and strong woman. It took a pretty darn great guy to snag one of these ladies up and I think they all love him dearly. So with the family a little fuller they decided to come in while Rachel was in town from NY to get some updated family pictures I think it is a beautiful group of images for mom to hang in the house:)

I don’t know how I got it in my head but somewhere along her pregnancy I decided a girl. Julia was expecting a girl. I was so sure that I had thought she had told me, as if she knew. But in our conversations she had assured me this never happened she did not in fact know what gender baby #2 was. I am never one to get a feeling of what peoples babies will be, never as a matter of fact if I do guess, you most likely will be having the opposite because I am always wrong. And at last here it is folks a big beautiful baby boy! By Big and beautiful I mean it. Baby Spencer was a whole 10lbs. So squishy and rolly polly I love it! I have four beautiful babies but have never a rolley baby goodness it is seriously to cute I can’t handle it!!!

The Perfect Addition | ABBOTSFORD NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

I have had the pleasure of taking all of these beautiful children’s maternity photos and I so so in love with these pictures. I was so honoured to get to meet baby Grey even before he was baby grey. He was just perfect in every way. And I truly mean it. With a striking resemblance to his siblings he is a beautiful baby and I can wait for more snuggles!

I met Alissa and Tim as their wedding photographer and was so happy to be able to reconnect with this Abbotsford family. Knowing their bambino was a few months old I was happy to have them in the studio for some family photos just in time for the holidays. If any family deserves it, it is this one. More on that here. I was happy to meet their little guy he is such a cutie. I love this whole session of photos but here are a few of my favorites.

A little Bob Dylan action | VANCOUVER ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Well I would be lying if I said I was surprised when I heard that these two dear friends announced their engagement. These two were meant to be, and am so excited to capture their big day this summer. I was so excited to work with these two, they are both super creative (actually Fiona is the brains behind my logo design and first website) and willing to put up with my crazy:) Fiona even brought “a few” ideas to the table as well.But I believe it was the groom to be who decided to have a Bob Dylan copycat album cover LOVE! I also love the computer and headphone shots, it truly is them to a tee as Scott works with all the computer stuff I can even grasp or wrap my head around and fiona is a great just for fun DJ, but is actually really good. xoxo

It being the first family day long weekend I thought it was suiting I would schedule a whole lot of families:)  It was great working with these two they were so fun and photogenic I could hardly narrow it down the photos there were just so many.

I am so excited to share these pictures as I have known this beautiful momma to be since high school and we were locker buddies.  She is so stunning, and seriously glowing.  I cannot wait to meet their new arrival. 

Its my wedding | ABBOTSFORD-WEDDING-FAIR

 

Well Its been a week of crazy following the Fraser Valleys largest wedding fair.  This year was a great showing by all vendors.  The booths looked great and there were some amazing people to meet and see again.  It was great getting to chat with all the newly engaged (and some long-term engagement ) ladies.  I love listening to all the crazy awesome proposals and big day plans.  It was a pleasure to meet so many soon to be brides and had an amazing weekend witnessing an actual wedding! I got my fashion fix at the fashion show with some stunning dresses by Ivory Bridal from their new store in Fort Langley.  And saw some beautifully decorated tables from my neighbour booth Angel Kisses decor
